Information is collected about crimes the selected respondent and their household may have experienced during the past year, including those which have not been reported to the police.

There are also questions about such issues as:
·         the level of crime and anti-social behaviour
·         worry about crime and personal safety
·         the perceived likelihood of the respondent experiencing a crime
·         the effect of fear of crime on quality of life
·         the police, police monitoring arrangements and the criminal justice system
·         experience of illicit drugs
