Northern Ireland Quarterly Construction Enquiry

The Northern Ireland Quarterly Construction Enquiry (QCE) is a statutory survey, conducted by Central Survey Unit on behalf of the Department for Finance and Personnel. Its primary aims is  to enable the calculation of the Northern Ireland Index of Construction.

The Index of Construction is an estimation of construction output by construction firms and public bodies operating in Northern Ireland.  It is an important economic indicator which feeds into the calculation of UK Gross Domestic Product.
