Crime and Justice SurveyFieldwork commenced on the 16 of June
The Crime and Justice Survey (CJS) is a new large-scale survey commissioned by the Northern Ireland Office and Queen´s University Belfast. This survey will provide measures on experiences of crime, safety from crime and self-reported offending.
A summary of the key aims and objectives are:
- Indicate risk factors and experiences of individuals, juveniles and households with regard to crime
- Collect information about offending and drug use in a household population
- Provide information about the number of offenders coming into contact with the Criminal Justice System
- Look at links between offending and drug use
- Identify risk factors associated with offending and drug use
